Why Hen to Table?
Long time Homesteaders, we know that the best food is what we raise ourselves, whether it's meat, veg, dairy, or eggs. Sometimes we have extra to share with friends and neighbors. And so we've created Hen To Table.
Forest Foraged Eggs
Our hens spend most of their time foraging in our Oak Forest. Their diet consists largely of insects, a variety of green plants, kitchen scraps, and LOTS of acorns, resulting in beautiful golden yolks! Just clean fresh eggs from healthy hens living as nature intended.
How It Works
Our goal is to supply our local community with egg-cellent eggs! Every week we will post the available dozens and a convenient meetup. Order your eggs by the cutoff date, and meet us for pickup. Payment is made in cash. Simple, wholesome, local.
About us
We are just people growing amazing food on a small homestead in the backwoods. In all things we do, we strive to work with the nature of the animals and plants we raise. Our animals are primarily foraged and live in keeping with the strengths and tendencies of each species.They provide us with food, fertilizer, pest control, and often entertainment!
